Position Objective:
This is a highly skilled position involving various manual tasks (finishing, forming, stripping, tying rebar, foundation preparation, etc.) associated with the concrete construction.

Essential Functions:
1. Finish wet surfaces to grade on all types of concrete work requiring a fine finish.  2. Use tools such as float, trowel, screed, template, hand shovel, 10’-16’ straight edge on extended handle up to 15’ long.  3. Responsible for the efficient working condition of the tools/equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance as needed and refer major problems to the supervisor.  4. Operate concrete finishing machine.  5. Thoroughly understand all requirements of the project at hand: edge slump, vertical face, pavement thickness, offset, consolidation and surface appearance.  6. Tasks include aligning and bracing portions of project assembly, using bubble leveler, boards, nails and hammer; measure distances between columns using tape measure or laser sighting.  7. Install outside and inside form panels using physical strength or, if necessary, pneumatic hoist; insert pins or wall ties through holes in concrete form panels to support, lift, and position panels.  8. Remove obstructions in grooves with hammer and chisel; patch holes, cracks, and joints in assembled sections using mortar and trowel or necessary tools.  9. Fill forms or panels with wet concrete and then vibrate, screed, trowel, or prepare surface to ensure proper concrete settling and surfacing as necessary or as described in plan.  10. Top off, screed or float the top of wall with necessary tools as required.

2-5 years of experience required, ACI Certification preferred.

Must have own hand tools and boots.

Valid Driver’s License required, Commercial Driver’s License helpful.

Completion of grade 12 or equivalent preferred.

Must be 18 years of age.

PROJECT MANAGER
Classification: Full Time
Work Location: Lewistown, Montana

Position Objective:
This position is responsible for providing project management support to the Division Manager.

Essential Functions:
Responsible for the management and coordination of all aspects of a construction project including:

  • Project scheduling and coordination with owners, general contractor, subcontractors, material suppliers, and other trades.
  • Responsible for timely deliveries of required submittals, project restrictions, phasing and staging.
  • Supervise Project Engineer and Superintendent (s) on project.
  • Responsible for equipment selection, staffing and productivities.
  • Managing financial oversight; estimating, budget review, change orders, billing and overall profit/loss reporting.
  • Maintaining project records; timecards, daily productions, documentation and correspondence.
  • Monitoring quality assurance.
  • Managing fuel reporting.
  • Coordinating tool and equipment tracking.
  • Obtaining required permits.
  • Coordinating and tracking deliveries of equipment, materials, forms, etc.

Competencies:

  • Engineering degree or 5+ years experience in Construction or a related field required.
  • Display an uncompromising focus on safety by properly following company policies and OSHA/MSHA/DOT/DEQ regulations for safe working procedures and protection of the environment.
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office including Excel experience preferred.
  • Must require minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to perform with or without accommodations and be available to travel in Montana, North Dakota and Wyoming.
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times.
  • Be willing to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • At least 20/40 acuity (Snellen) in each eye with or without correction. At least 70 degrees peripheral in horizontal meridian measured in each eye.

Work Demands & Environment:

  • Personal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, and as needed, safety-toed boots, respirator, protective clothing, gloves and other protective equipment.
  • Employee will be required to work in outdoor environments which may include exposure to extreme temperatures and weather.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, and work on elevated platforms, possibly for extended periods.
  • Requires occasional moving/lifting of up to 50 pounds during the course of the work day.

Compensation:
Wage is $60k-$80k/year, negotiable and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Company vehicle and vacation. 100% Employer-paid full family medical. Benefits include life, health, vision, dental, flex account, 401k and retirement. Employer of Choice benefit.

Truck Driver

TRUCK DRIVER
Classification: Full Time Seasonal
Work Location: Montana/North Dakota/Wyoming

Position Objective:
Drivers will safely and efficiently operate end dumps, side dumps, and belly dumps with and without trailers and tarping systems.  Drivers will deliver all types of soils, aggregates, asphalt and other materials to locations both residential and commercial.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for the safe and responsible operation of end dump, side dump, and belly dump trucks, including pup trailers. 2. Responsible for inspecting vehicle for proper and safe operating condition before and after each trip. 3. Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the supervisor. 4. Must maintain a DOT driver’s log and other required transport documentation, adhere to all local, state, and federal (FMCSA) regulations and ensure DOT compliance at all times. 5. Effectively communicate via 2-way radio with supervisor and other team members. 6. Position requires working with truck components, including brake adjustments, tie-down of equipment, as well as climbing in/out of cabs, on/off and over/under equipment, and sitting for extended periods of time. 7. Be observant of changing road/traffic conditions and adjust driving accordingly. 8. Complete and submit all paperwork in a timely manner.

Class A CDL with tanker endorsement required; Clean driving record, trucking experience and knowledge of FMCSA Regulations required.

Must be willing to travel in Montana, North Dakota and Wyoming.

Compensation:
